Our passion goes beyond just serving food – each bite at Stone House is a testament to our commitment to sustainability. We partner with local farms to serve high quality, local food whenever possible. We also support our very own Stone House Farms which is located up the road here in Nevada City!
Erected 1857, Stone House has been the cornerstone of Nevada City for quite some time. Originally, the space was built to be the brewery to serve up their patrons with locally crafted beer during the days of the Gold Rush. Since then, Stone House has been a place for food, drink and good times. In 2015 we underwent a major renovation that has led to the evolution of modern day Stone House, a place to create memories and commemorate our connection to food and the people we enjoy it with.
